Our Story
Our name was inspired by our founder, I. Sesay, and her innate ability to be a great problem solver and find the SOLUTIONS for many of the people in her circle’s problems centered around pageantry, events, creative direction, and image consulting. In 2015 the concept of ‘Coach Sesay’ was planted but wasn’t until May 2017 that the company, Sesay Solutions, would be born.
The Queen Maker
Coach Sesay's involvement and influence within the beauty pageant industry spans 15 years. Sesay was introduced to pageantry while attending her alma mater, Virginia State University. She won numerous titles, such as Miss Black and Gold - Eastern Region 2010 and Miss Black District of Columbia USA 2015, ranking in the Top 16 at the National Miss Black USA pageant competition. While she has always loved the stage, her greatest success has been her work off the stage through her clients.
From the Miss USA, Miss America, USA National Miss, and the many campus and national HBCU King & Queen pageant systems, Sesay takes pride in helping mold the minds of young adults hoping to achieve their 'King & Queen status' and find their voice. Through leadership workshops, image consulting, and her individual + group pageant coaching, Sesay provides a concierge service for all her clients – curating the experience they need to get them stage-ready.
Now dubbed ‘The Queen Maker,’ Coach Sesay takes pride in holding a 95% success rate of all of her coaching clients placing as 'Top Finalists' or titleholders in their local, state, national, and international pageants.

Sesay is a storyteller with 11+ years of experience in marketing and communications. Having worked with brands and organizations across non-profit, retail, e-commerce, and entertainment industries, Sesay has developed a well-rounded view of what it means to connect with your target audience-- no matter the industry. From selling undergarments, interviewing celebs, or connecting local business partners, Sesay is the woman you want on your team to help you find the SOLUTION where one may seem bleak.
